Take note on where you practice. Is it the same place where you recently had a disagreement? Maybe your practicing in a area that’s normally a workspace. What happens to your practice if you instead go to a park or choose a neutral area in your house?
Pay attention to the surroundings in your practice space. Is it clean? Does it have a particular odor? How is the noise level? Is it quiet or noisy? Many different nuances can either deepen your practice or keep it stuck.
Most importantly, it seems like we become conditioned to certain experiences in certain spaces. Sleep and sex in our bedrooms. Business/work in our office. Creation in our studio. It’s almost as if the space itself helps you achieve certain outcomes. Imagine having a dedicated qigong space.
